Fat Loss Tips to Lose Belly Fat
When I started training Suzie she wanted to lose some belly fat and drop a few pounds from around her waist.
Suzie understood that in order for her to lose the unwanted belly fat and sculpt slimmer abs and thighs she would have to control her energy balance as it all comes down to Calories In Vs Calories Out.
Suzie had heard all about a calories deficit which is basically using more calories than you take in and that this was the only way to lose fat.
Use Less Calories than you consume – Gain Weight
Use the same calories as you consume – Maintain Weight

But Suzie didn’t really know what she was trying to achieve and why?
Suzie didn’t really know what the best way was to tackle the problem and actually lose belly fat. Like how many calories she should be trying to use on a daily basis, how much exercise you should be doing, how much fat she could lose?
This is when I told Suzie in order to lose her belly fat she would have to follow the Fat Loss Essentials.

Fat Loss Essentials:
- Each pound of fat equals 3500 calories. To Lose 1lb of Fat Suzie needed to create a shortage of 3500 calories. (500 calories less a day = 1 pound of fat a week)
- Eating 500 less calories a day is much easier than burning off 500 calories a day.
- Healthy fat loss is about 1-2 pounds of body fat a week.
- Dieting without exercise won’t work, missing meals and not eating will bring your metabolism and fat loss to a dramatic halt.
- Eating supportive food every 3-4 hours burns more calories and will boost your metabolism.
- Resistance Exercise and Intervals will enhance your metabolism, burn more belly fat, shape and tone your new Sexy Body.
- Intervals are better than Steady State Cardio (ie. Slow Boring Cardio)to lose belly fat and any other fat for the mater. Intervals will boost your metabolism, burn more overall calories and protect your precious lean muscle.
- Both Nutrition and Exercise are Vital to Boost Your Metabolism in order to reach your Fat Loss Goals.
- Never eat less than 1200 calories per day. Anything less is usually not enough to support your basal metabolism which fuels vital bodily functions and will slow your metabolism.
Therefore, Suzie’s Goal was to increase her metabolism high as possible each and every day so that she could burn off as many calories as possible, and also eat slightly less calories than she used daily.
If Suzie did this then she would easily have a calorie deficit of at least 500 calories without dropping her total energy intake too low. Allowing her to keep your metabolism as high as possible to lose more Belly Fat and Sculpt a Slim Flat Stomach as fast as possible.
